Collection of Personal Information: To better provide you with products and services offered on our site, Montrose Auction, Inc. may collect personally identifiable contact information and identification numbers through a variety of sources, such as the website, email, phone, text messages, social media platforms, or in-person.  Personally identifiable information obtained may include any or all, but not limited to, the following:

If you are the winning bidder in an auction and purchase an item, we collect billing and credit card information, description, and identifying information on the items purchased, shipping, and, if applicable, all required ATF required data to finalize the transfer of firearms. The information is used to complete the purchase transaction and obtain payment authorization.  If you provided a credit card and billing address using the Website, all of that data is sent securely to our credit card processing company.  We do not store on our servers full credit card data except for the last 4 digits of the credit card number. 

We do not collect personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us.  However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you purchase items through an auction.  These may include:  

  1. Registering for an account on our site 

  1. Sending email messages 

  1. Submitting your credit or other payment information when placing a bid
